A detailed description, GPS map, and elevation detail for the Moran Basin trail outside of Libby Montana will be posted to this website in summer 2015. For the time being the limited descritpion for the Moran Basin trail is as follows: Trail overlooks the Bull River Valley, West Cabinets, Bald Eagle Peak, Elephant Peak, and St. Paul Peak.

For the time being the St Paul Lake trail description is as follows: This trail is shaded nicely by old growth Cedars and Hemlocks. Trail end opens to St. Paul Lake. Small waterfalls pour into the south end of the lake. This hike may very well be the top dog for canine hiking in the 94,000- acre Cabinet Mountains Wilderness.
